WhatsApp Community
PEP-RJ members are invited to join the PEP-RJ WhatsApp Community to connect with colleagues from around the country. Groups include Communications Professionals, Young Adult Programming, Parents of PEP-RJ, Jewish Memes, and more. Want to start another area of discussion? You can start another group. Access to the community is for members only, so email hello@peprj.org if you need the invite link.
PEP Connects: Portfolio Zoom Calls
One of the best resources PEP-RJ has is our members! We are a group of passionate people who are dedicated to the work we do. To that end, we have four regular opportunities for our members to come together to learn from and with each other for the various job responsibilities our positions entail. Join one or join them all; we know you will feel uplifted and heard after participating in these calls.
Everyone will receive calendar invites for our PEP Connect calls based on your job responsibilities (Membership, programming, member engagement, communications & marketing).
Programming
Third Wednesday of the month, 2:00 pm ET
Coordinator: Alexa Asher
The PEP-RJ Programs Monthly Call will offer a space for PEP-RJ members with programming in their portfolio to come together to share ideas, seek insight, learn from one another, and offer a dedicated space to hone their craft. Topics will include programs for different ages and stages, holiday and festival programming, new member programs, and more!
Communications
Second Thursday of the month, 3:00 pm ET
Coordinators: Rebecca Rund & Ori Hoffer
The monthly PEP-RJ Communications call offers staff responsible for communications in their congregation a space to learn from another and improve the way in which they develop and deliver communications to their organizations. We discuss issues and concerns; share ideas and resources; and serve as a sounding board for one another.
Member Engagement
Third Thursday of the month, 1:00 pm ET
Coordinators: Jackie Grussgott and Jillian Peskin
The PEP-RJ Membership/Engagement Monthly call offers the opportunity to share ideas, insights, and best practices in the areas of member engagement. Past (and future) topics have included new member onboarding and first-year touchpoints, lay-led membership committees, small groups, working with auxiliaries, and more.
NEW! Digital Engagement
Fourth Thursday of the month, 3:00 pm ET
Coordinator: Ori Hoffer
Our Digital Engagement group expands our PEP Connect offerings, bringing together members from every role to discuss the tools, trends, and big questions shaping how we connect with members. We’ll cover everything from databases, AI, and automation to email, text messaging, websites, livestreaming, and whatever comes next.
